Database Setup

Service Desk can create its own database and restricted application account. The MySQL administrator credentials below are never written to configuration.

Use localhost when PHP and MySQL are on the same server. For a remote database use the web server's specific address rather than %.

First Administrator

Create the first Super Administrator account. This account will have unrestricted access to Service Desk configuration.

Initial Service Desk Settings

Set the installation address and initial helpdesk defaults. These can be changed later from Administration.

The standard Open status and Normal priority created by the schema will be used as the initial defaults.
